Maccabi USA Bat & Glove Program
It’s time for the Maccabiah! In 2013, Maccabi USA will bring more than 60 Baseball and Fast Pitch Softball players, ages 15 to 35+, from all over the United States to compete in Israel. Appointment to each team is a special opportunity for Baseball and Softball players to represent the USA in the most competitive and prestigious Jewish sporting event in the world. Our chairs and staff work tirelessly to manage each team while obtaining their own personal fundraising commitments to Maccabi USA. Additionally, there are fundraising goals for each appointed athlete. Your support of Maccabi USA Baseball and Softball is greatly appreciated. Maccabi USA In July of 2013, Team USA will compete at the 19th World Maccabiah Games in Israel. More than 7,000 world-class athletes from over 60 countries are expected to participate – it is the third largest international sporting event in the world! Please help our Team USA members reach their fundraising goals. With your help, we can send the best athletes to compete in this elite competition.
Each Team USA member has a Yachad fundraising goal. Yachad is the Hebrew word for “together,” and requires that each member of Team USA contributes and/or raises a minimum amount in support of the Maccabiah, as a shared commitment. Maccabi USA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Donations made on behalf of a Team, a Team member, or directly to Maccabi USA are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.
